Equine Assisted Learning
In Equine-Assisted Learning/Wellness (EAL), the horses are the teachers.

A trained EAL Coach/Facilitator supports participants' experiences at the farm. Adaptable session lengths and an open-air outdoor forest farm environment set the beautiful stage for sensory learning.

People tend to readily accept the nonjudgmental, authentic, and present-minded communication they receive from horses. This unique horse-human bond can serve to help people develop patience, trust, interpersonal skills, respect, empathy, acceptance, confidence, assertiveness, and responsibility. Best still, all of this learning feels like horseplay! The horses offer immediate feedback to participants through non-verbal communication, guiding participants' discoveries and future goal setting.
In EAL learning is ground-based, so the horses are not ridden. The horses and humans are both firmly planted on Mother Earth for the duration of their experiences with one another.
